Our R&D Division is looking for a Senior System EE Automation to be based at its TechCenter at Etampes (91).
 
Part of the Advanced Engineering team of Faurecia Seat Electronics, the Senior System EE Automation  has two main missions: coordinating the technical development of new products (systems) and designing  the introduction of new technologies & architecture  within the Product Line.  It will require a high level of collaboration with the cross functional EE Team, and with the greater global Faurecia R&D organization. He will need to have strong knowledge in Electronics and EE Architecture.
 
The main missions are to:
 
ACTIVITIES:
 
New Product (System) Development
  • Development of new products by coordinating all the technical activities with the different métiers (Hardware, Software, Mechanics, Laboratory, Safety…)
  • Create the automation & control / System architecture & sub-system of his/her projects
  • Responsible for the EE (System, SW, HW)  integration
  • Create the System Specification of his/her projects
  • Handle all documentation related to his/her projects  
  • Monitor the development planning + associated workload of the different métiers
  • Identify key resources and provide the direction required to meet the project objectives
  • Report on a regular basis the status of his/her projects to the Management    
  • Provide expertise and leadership for product definition, development and execution
  • Maintain patent disclosures for all responsible work and support writing of related disclosures
      
    Advanced Engineering
  • Scouting new technologies to be incorporated into the Product Line roadmap
  • Structure the development of new technological bricks  
     
    ENVIRONMENT:
     
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working in the development of automotive products (electronics or mechatronics related).
  • Additional academic background or professional experience linked to Innovation Management will be highly appreciated 
  • Tier 1 Automotive supplier
     
The ideal candidate will have/be:
  • Engineering degree (MSc equivalent) in Electronics or Mechatronics
  • Capacity to be worked in a matrix organization and an international environment
  • High level of curiosity toward technology
  • Ability to work both with a structured approach and an “out of the box” way of thinking
  • Strong team player 
  • Fluent in English (international team). French is a plus
