Our Business Group Faurecia Interiors, which develops and produces dashboards, center consoles, cockpit and door panels, is looking for a System Architect for its Méru R & D Center (Hauts-de-France).


Job Description:


Essential responsibilities and duties
The software architect is responsible for the definition of the architecture of the software embedded in the products. He describs the component list, the purpose of each components and the interaction between software components. He is responsible for the proper reuse of existing software components especially from the plateform including simple scheduler based architecture and Autosar architecture as well. He supports the hardware team for the hardware & software interface document creation and on all updates. He is also responsible for the setup of the configuration management for the program he works on.
It operates throughout the development cycle, up to integration and production.             
              
 
The main missions of the role are
  • Participate in the detailed analysis of functional and technical needs
  • Define the software architecture, in conjunction with other professions (mechanics, optical, purchasing, industrialization, ...) and write the technical specifications
  • Define the proper reuse of existing components and creates metrics to ensure the follow up
  • Ensure the interfacing of the software components with system software, hardware and mechanics
  • Support the hardware team for the definition and the updates of the Hardware to software interface documents
  • Lead the setup of the configuration management for all the program under his responsibility.
  • Deploy capitalization and competencies inside company (training, guideline,…) for his perimeter
  • Benchmark EE products and identify market trends
  • Guide  commodity purchasing to define  supplier panel
  • Drive technical exchange with software suppliers or partners
  • Promote Faurecia electronics competencies internally and externally
The ideal candidate would have :

  • Bachelor's degree in electronic

  • 7 years of experience in automotive electronic application, product development.

  • Understanding of adjoining technologies effects on his/her technology domain.

  • Understanding of the systems where his/her technology domain is involved.

  • Strong leadership and communication skills.

  • Technological curiosity.

  • Design to cost approach.

  • Skilled in Autosar software and tools

  • Skilled in embedded software design and simulation system software (Matlab Simulink or similar simulation software)

  • Standard PC software knowledge (MS Office, etc.) and comfortable with digital tools.

  • Intercultural and open mindset, overseas experiences a plus.

  • Flexibility for frequent business travel.

  • Minimum bi-lingual (English required).
