Faurecia Clean Mobility develops and produces solutions to drive Mobility and Industry towards zero emission. Our solutions for air quality, energy efficiency, acoustic performance and powertrain electrification address the needs of passenger cars and commercial vehicles manufacturers, industrial and high horsepower applications.

 

We need strong expertise and key competencies also displaying high energy and agility, so we are looking for a Tank Chief Engineer (M/W) in our R&D center based in Bavans, France.

 

Main responsibilities :

Tank chief engineer is responsible of tank product development team. He/She insures generics development, product expertise building and customer application development.


In this role, we will need you to:

 

·         Report to an Engineering Manager.

·         Build & manage a team of product development leaders, product engineers and product experts to support innovation and customer application.

·         Build and realize product roadmap.

·         Insure generic product development.

·         Insure product expertise building in order to strengthen development robustness.

·         Responsible of customer application: product design and validation, following project cost and timing.

·         Pilot testing, simulation tool development in order to shorten & strengthen development.

·         Insure internal report to the management of project progress.

·         Responsible of technical communication internally and externally.

Qualifications:

The ideal applicant would have:

·         Master degree or PhD (Material, Mechanical)

·         Ideally good knowledge in hydrogen tank development or at least in plastic and composite product and process.

·         Synthetic and organized mindset.

·         Ability to manage customer. Customer oriented.

·         Good knowledge in product development processes, material, mechanical assembly durability.

·         Working proficiency in French & English. German is a plus

·         Minimum 10 years’ experience, preferably in Automotive
