Our Faurecia Clean Mobility team is looking for a Zero Emissions Scale-Up Director in Southfield, Michigan location.


Develop the North American business unit for Zero-Emissions Scale-Up products with all traditional and new-entrant customers.


The main missions of the role are:

  • Working with Market Analysis team and Business Group (BG) Product Line (PL) and Product Line Engineering (PLE) teams, establish the market outlook for all Future Mobility products (Light Weight Composite Structures, Battery Case, Hydrogen Fuel Cell)
  • Educate Regional Business Unit (RBU), Customer Business Unit (CBU) and Application Engineering  (AFO) organizations (Especially the Business Development Managers) on Future Mobility innovations and their applicability within the North American Organization (NAO) marketplace
  • Collaborating with RBU, CBU, AFO and PLE, establish customer-specific strategies for introduction of innovations with Light Vehicle customers
  • Identify innovation gaps within NAO marketplace and communicate needs back to BG PL and PLE to ensure that NAO marketplace remains an innovation leader
  • Collaborate with overall NAO team to develop the 5Year Strat Plan (5YSP), including all Future Mobility content and market share
  • Support RBU Organizations in achievement of 5YSP revenue/profitability goals for Future Mobility market spaces
  • Engage with external organizations (Universities, Industry Trade Groups, etc.) to maintain a strong understanding of market and legislative trends in the support of Division and RBU strategic development for Future Mobility products
  • Engage with Universities and consortiums to promote our technology and to discover new technologies that could be a collaborative fit for Faurecia Clean Mobility
  • Work with Market Analysis Team to develop deep understanding of the NAO market for Future Mobility solutions, including seemingly unrelated trends and opportunities
  • Engage PL Branding team to develop and reinforce our product and market strategy within the division
  • Utilize social media and online professional publications to promote our expertise, innovations and accomplishments
  • Target new-entrant customers in NAO based on market intelligence, customer strategy and market development
  • Drive commercial negotiations and deep customer intimacy with new-entrant customers
  • Develop the appropriate support organization for Zero-Emissions program support
  • Work with Smart Cities and the BG level to target specific cities within NAO for clean city products and real-time sensor opportunities
  • Develop relationships at the city government level to cultivate Smart City business opportunities 


The ideal candidate will have/be:

  • Undergraduate studies in Engineering or Business
  • MBA is a plus
  • Strong communicator
  • Business Savvy Entrepreneur
  • Bi-Lingual is a plus
  • Proficient in MS Office (PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, etc)
  • 10+ years in Automotive or related Industries
  • Knowledge of Composites and Battery Electric Vehicles would be a plus
  • Excellent customer interface and technical presentation skills
