Description :

Our [Division] is looking for a Production Control & Logistics Supervisor for its FIS at Ammavarupalli.


The role of a Shopfloor Logistics Supervisor is to manage the internal flow of pieces, from receipt to shipping. The main missions of the role are to:

  • Build up the Procurement Program by dividing and leveling piece procurements
  • Follow up the Procurement Program realization by managing alert  systems and follow the unloading, receipt and transportation of pieces.
  • Follow supplier delivery performance (supplier Misdeliveries Per Million) and the service of logistics partners and propose appropriate improvement action plans.
  • Achieve the transportation program on a monthly basis and the transportation scheme semi-annually.
  • Direct packaging management.
  • Ensure that logistics conventions comply with purchasing objectives and support conditions set by suppliers for procurement and packaging and by logistics partners for transport and services.
  • Verify that Sales and Production Plan (PIC) capacity requirements can be supported by suppliers and implement corrective actions when necessary. 


Deliverables, Performance Indicators

  • Financials : Warehouse costs ( adherence to budget), Inventory accuracy in Whs, eventually PC&L MOD cost;
  • Delivery/reception: NRFT, all KPI related to system usage in reception and shipments area;
  • Systems and tool usage: KPI related to flows reliability and adherence to standard ( for ex Cycle counting process compliance, negative stock management, level of automation for reception processes…) and KPI related to FES usage




  • ExecutionEnsure the day-to-day activities related to reception, allocation of parts to storage location, deliveries to production line, withdraw of finished goods from production line, bookings, TPA preparation, shipment and alert management with adequate staffing affectation to ensure the PC&L Standards respect;
  • Ensure full inventory accuracy through proper analysis in case of deviance and lead thecycle counting operations in all warehouse locations.
  • Ensure the proper management of alert system and escalation process
  • Manage the returnable packaging flows inside the plant


Process standardization and development

▪ Ensure strict respect and application of PC&L standards (FCP), ICB, HSE, Safety and FES recommendations, lead the eventual convergence plans related to PC&L shopfloor activities with the support of PC&L improvement coordinator;

▪ Lead the improvement of FCS usage for internal flow management (Booking, transfers, storage) and interface with external flow management (Reception, shipment), ensure the readiness of the plant for Digital solutions implementation and Lead these implementations activities with the support of PC&L improvement coordinator;

▪ Ensure internal customer satisfaction: anticipate mid and long term evolutions of shop floor activities in term of resources, staffing and skills with customer requirements (PIC), impact of launch of new programs and digital solutions implementations;

▪ Improve logistics performance: surface optimization, labor efficiency, handling utilization, HSE, alert management

Internal plant customers, Sales & Customers, Purchasing & Suppliers, Program team & Engineering, MPTS platforms.

Qualifications :

The ideal candidate will have/be:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering
  • Experience: 5-8 Yrs
  • Minimum bi-lingual (English  & Telgu required)
