Our Shared Services Group is looking for a Human Resources Information Systems Intern for our team in Auburn Hills, Michigan at North American Headquarters.

 

The role of the Human Resources Intern is to provide support in the daily activities of the corporate Shared Services HR Department.

 

This position will assist the Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) Team in providing analysis and technical support to our users, maintaining system integrity and functionality, and providing overall business process enhancements with our HR/Payroll systems. Systems include ADP GlobalView, ADP eTIME, ADP IPay, ADP Tax Services, Unemployment and various other internal/external HR/Payroll web-based systems.

  • Provide HRIS Helpdesk support to system users
  • Assist with testing and implementation of system modifications/enhancements
  • Gain a comprehensive knowledge of the complete payroll process and the related system tools utilized in the process (for US & Canada)
  • Create/Modify eTIME User access, eTIME queries, labor levels & paycodes
  • Systems password reset administration
  • Investigate and resolve eTIME timecard queries from HR
  • Complete standard system audit/compliance reports; process special report requests
  • Full access to the GlobalView Quality environment and ADP eTIME
  • Display access to the GlobalView Production environment

 

The ideal candidate will have/be:

  • Strong technical knowledge of general computer operations and applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet Explorer/Google Chrome
  • Basic understanding of system programming
  • Previous HR/Payroll experience or basic understanding of general HR/Payroll processes preferred
  • Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive information
  • Ability to work with multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to work independently and remotely due to Covid-19 restrictions
