Position Summary: Integrated within the Sales Organization of a given Customer Business Unit (“CBU”), the Sales Manager is responsible for the Sales development for a specific Account or part of this Account (Development, Serial Life, Acquisitions), within a Division / Region.



  • Prepare and check/validate the commercial offers to answer on due time to the Customer requests\
  • Develop in-depth intimacy with Customer contacts (Purchasing, Engineering, Programs)
  • Manage a small team of Sales Engineers or interns
  • Responsible for quoting on-time / on-profit customer ECRs (“Engineering Changes Requests”) negotiation
  • Supports the negotiation of ECRs and claims
  • Participate in continuous improvement idea discussions in business efficiency and cost reduction
  • Capitalizes on knowledge and shares best practices / lessons learned across organization and within the site

Position Specifications


  • Submit new business and ECR quotes to the customer and negotiate on Faurecia’s behalf
  • Update CBU Cash IN and invoicing Forecast for assigned programs
  • Manage team of sales engineers/analysis yearly performance reviews/STAR/IPD
  • Coordinate development program team across multiple functions (Costing, Controlling, Engineering, Purchasing, Logistics) to meet customer request deadlines.


Knowledge / Skills:

  • Fluent in English
  • Business model, industry, and products knowledge
  • Strong competencies in relationship management, and negotiation
  • Comfortable with financials
  • Good communication and presentation skills, and capacity of empathy
  • Business international mindset
  • Accountable and results oriented – Get the things done
  • Team player and ability to work in a matrix organization
  • Time management and prioritization skills


Education / Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience with successful track record with different assignments
  • Established personal relationship with one or two OEMs within the relevant markets
  • Bachelor’s Degree (business or engineering preferred)
