Title:                       GSS CBU Director

Reports To:               GSS BU General Manager (direct line)



Essential responsibilities and duties

He/She is responsible for the Sales Development & and Programs activity for the whole product life cycle (program, serial life, acquisitions) in all regions. Supported by local CBU of our current core business, he/she will have to coordinate all these activities.


The main missions are:

  • Oversees intimacy with his/her Customer contacts (Purchasing, Engineering, Programs):
    • Interfaces with the customer at Senior Level
    • Build long term relationships with key staff at top management level in the client organization
    • Understand what competition is doing
    • Networking with existing CBU on Faurecia core business (CVI, LE)


  • Responsible for the profitability & growth of his/her account, through:
    • Strategic Account planning with mid term vision and objectives
    • Acquisitions order intake at or above targets
    • Programs in development – dashboard – exit points to stay aligned at Start Of Prodcution 
    • Serial life variable cost margin continuous improvement with a reasonable alignment on productivity with the customer


  • Manage/Lead a team of Sales and Program Engineers and Managers in his/her Region/BU:
    • Overall management of all own organization’s sales activity (recruiting, developing and promoting the teams)
    • Staff on time / at the right level the acquisitions & program teams
    • Networking with sales team in place in the region.
    • Overall responsibility to set sales targets designed to meet organization’s objectives


  • Responsible for his/her CBU Programs :
    • Oversees all Programs on the defined perimeter
    • Deep understanding and proactive management of Programs from award to Start of Production (check deliverables from Customer / internal, arbitrations, quality & engineering convergence)
    • Launch preparation & readiness : leads all actions / decisions to support non-event launches
    • ECR process : he/she is responsible for a disciplined / systematic selling of ECRs with a profit & cash content before or at the time of their implementation
    • Tooling account : he/she is responsible to sell our tooling with adequate commissioning fees and to collect the cash on time
