Our Clean Mobility Division is looking for an Innovation Program Manager (IPM) for its R&D center at Bavans – France


Essential responsibilities and duties

The IPM is responsible for the development of an innovative product (Heated Doser System) and new associated manufacturing processes with defined project timing and budget.


The main missions of the role are:

  • Develop innovative product or process in line with needs for manufacturability, durability, functionality, timing and cost
  • Apply innovation Program Management System (iPMS) with successful and on time achievement of work packages, mandatory deliverables and key program milestones.
  • Share program progress on a regular basis with commercial vehicles network
  • Lead his/her program core team as functional manager, with an entrepreneurial mindset to support development
  • Support the application of innovative product and process in customer projects, mostly in pre-development and request for quotation phases.
  • Interface with commercial vehicle innovation teams globally to support local pre-development projects.
  • Interface and work closely with commercial vehicle manufacturing teams in Europe.
  • Promote the product / process innovations to our customers in coordination with GCEDs.
  • Support the implementation of technical program management within innovation activities




The ideal candidate will have/be:


Minimum education level: Master’s degree in engineering



  • Minimum 5 years of experience in project management
  • Knowledge of products constraints in Hydraulics & experience of Laser welding manufacturing process
  • Knowledge in injection characterization (spray, metering, control) during the development and in production
  • Experience of mechatronic product development with system engineering approach


Skills and competencies:

  • Experience in managing technical projects
  • Ability to interface with customers, product and process community to plan a technology development project and to provide regular progress reports.
  • Ability to work in a global team, taking benefit from expertise and developments from US and Asian R & D groups
  • Ability to coach, support and challenge his/her team
  • Autonomy & flexibility skills in a complex environment
  • Fluent in French and English.
