Zero emission Product Marketing and Strategy Manager


In the Zero emission division, the Product Marketing and Strategy Manager (M/W) is in charge of leading the work relative to the Products strategy and promotion and of conducting key strategy projects for the Business incubator (BUI – battery housing & pack products, innovative hydrogen storage solutions, additional portfolio extension for Zero emission division…) and Lightweight solutions (LWS – composite parts for mass market, sport & lux, off-road and battery housing components) business lines.


The main missions are :


  • Understand business line(s) Products Market drivers and trends, in particular by collecting and synthetizing
    • (i) voice of customers, customer pain points and expectations (with the sales team and regional divisions, through event, conferences, specific meetings…)
    • (ii) product competition offer, complementarity with other players offer
    • (iii) regulation and key trends impacting the Products
  • Propose, with relevant functions, product strategy: product USP, product pricing and business model, innovation and fueling strategy.
  • Build Product promotion content (Innovation Selling Toolkit material) and deploy it towards relevant functions and divisions, build and implement together with Events Manager Product external communication plan, support when needed sales team
  • Drive the business line(s) strategic plan process along with the ZE Strategy and marketing Director and the General managers
  • Lead strategic and transversal projects for the business lines, including potentially projects with strategic partners or involving players scouting and new business opportunities evaluation for the Business incubator (incl. a strong business model innovation content)
  • Support when needed the Joint-Development, Joint-Ventures or M&A processes, working with legal and BG/group strategy teams (investment presentation, position papers)
  • Participate to centralize overall competitive intelligence: collect and disseminate information related to competitors, key customers and players to better understand strategies, products and alliances
  • Support the Senior Marketing analyst marketing studies when needed
  • Prepare slides for reporting to ZE, Business Group and Group levels, in particular in the context of the Strategic plan



The ZE Product Marketing and Strategy Manager will be part of the Zero emission Strategy and marketing team and will report to the Zero emission Strategy and marketing Director, and functionally to the General managers. They will work closely with:

  • The other members of the team, including the ZE Market Analyst and the Gas storage systems Product Marketing and Strategy Manager
  • The General managers and their transoral functions, such as the program managers, engineering or purchasing teams
  • The BG Strategy, Product line, marketing and communication team
  • The regional divisions and CVI division PL & marketing teams
  • Key external partners



The ideal candidate will have/be:

  • Masters Degree, Engineering or Business
  • 5-year + experience in an industry environment, preferably in the automotive industry
  • Marketing orientation (value proposal, business model, …) and technical curiosity/product interest
  • Fluent in English
  • Ability to work in a matrix organization and strong ability to lead transversal strategic projects
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Results oriented with good written and oral communications skills, including synthetizing
  • Ability to be a source of proposals/challenge in an uncertain environment
  • International mind set and business acumen
  • IT Skills: Excellent in PowerPoint, proficiency in Excel
