Title:                Engineering Change Coordinator

Reports To:     Master Scheduler & Material Coordinator



Essential responsibilities and duties


        • The main missions of the Engineering Change Coordinator and Scheduler are:
        • Ensure that product changes (new product launches, product phase-out) are taken into account within procurements and production process.
        • Update systems related to engineering changes (Bill of Materials) and Material Item Master setup.
        • Manage application dates of product modifications according to engineering change procedures.
  • Maintain effective relationships with program teams. 
  • Manage Product Change Notices (PCN) including organizing weekly EC meetings with relevant departments to discuss status of PCNs
  • Define and assume the logistics conditions necessary for the launch of new programs. 
  • Ensure that changes are taken into account in production scheduling, material planning, and within physical flows: identify appropriate packagings and introduce changes concerning border production line procurements, stocks and towards suppliers. 
  • Manage phase out files: reduce obsolete stocks to minimum levels and reorganize file in order to obtain reimbursement from the customer.
  • Organize cycle counts, reconcile cycle counts; reconcile inventory differences
  • Conduct BOM audits
  • Manage the customer releases (weekly & daily)
  • Collect and analyze customer releases
  • Generating and maintaining an effective MRP based on customer/production requirements
  • Manage the Service System requirements for all programs
  • Ensure customer supplied packaging  is at levels sufficient to support production
  • Work with customers to ensure all transportation (product shipments) is organized and communicated both internally and externally
  • Maintain the Document Control site within the Faurecia intranet system
  • Assure compliance of the documented quality system (TS16949) and promote consistency throughout the organization
  • Assist Quality Systems Management Representative with audit compliance, preparation and corrective actions
  • All other duties as assigned by Master Scheduler & Material Coordinator




The ideal candidate will have/be:


Minimum education level:

  • Bachelors degree, prefereably in Supply Chain Management


  • Experience in production in an industrial environment is an asset


Skills and competencies:

Strong analytical and proven team oriented problem solving-skills required

  • Strong computer skills
  • Strong customer satisfaction orientation
