Responsibilities

 

  • Lead integration study of display(s) module in products (Instrument panel, Center console, Rear seat etc… ) from concept to industrialization; meet performance requirements in terms of environmental, mechanical, optical, haptic, safety, thermal, electronic and cost
  • Define mechanical strategy and technologies roadmap for display integration
  • Global role in the engineering organization.
  • Develop and deploy display integration expertise inside the company
  • Lead concepts and lead / support display Technobricks development in concerned field
  • Support preparation of demonstrators for Global Tradeshows such as CES and international automotive shows
  • Support customer relationships and collaboration in the scope of engineering display activities
  • Support Customer Pre-RFQ / RFQ Technical Reviews
  • Support industrialization and production launches.
  • Create technical guidelines / design rules to support program development

 

 

Qualifications

 

  • An experimented mechanical engineer with experience from design to industrialization and a large field of knowledge in display integration technologies (optical bonding, structural bonding, assembly, surface decoration, )
  • Mechanical engineering education with an ideal minimum 10 years’ experience in mechanical product design & development including a minimum of 5 years spent in the automotive industry.
  • Strong knowledge in mechanical product assembly technologies
  • Experience in electronic product development
  • Basics in optics
  • Excellent communication skills and intercultural intelligence/ Global mindset
  • Flexibility for frequent business travel (Europe, China, Japan, ).
  • Fluent in English required
