Overall responsibilities and duties:

 

The Finance Analyst supports the Central Finance team at FCE in multi-purpose roles within the Department with special focus on the requests of Business group regarding product lines for R&D scope. Finance or Accounting background/knowledge is important in this position to allow for assisting in many areas of the department.

 

The main missions of the role are:

 

  • Assists in weekly and monthly processes such as forecasting and reporting by product division.
  • Coordinates the communication between Americas Division and Product Division leaders contributing to strategic management decisions.
  • Consolidates and support in the analysis from plants/R&D to answer the requests from Region, Business Group and Product Division regarding profitability, squeeze, and cash reporting focusing on details by product lines.
  • Prepares and distributes templates and reports to our R&D and operations finance teams in the US, Mexico, and Brazil
  • Supports implementation of the “squeeze” process- performs analysis of sales prices, purchase prices, etc. to ensure accuracy.
  • Promotes stability and consistency by documenting key processes and procedures.
  • Contributes to the future estimate results calculation (forecast, Budget, Strategic Plan) and checks consistency by product division.
  • Other duties and special projects as assigned.

 

 

 

 

Minimum education level:  Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.

 

Experience:

 

  • 0-2 yrs Previous internship experience in Finance/ Accounting preferred

  • Experience with SAP and Hyperion not required, but preferred
