Title: PC&L Improvement Manager

The role of the PC&L Improvement Manager, in the context of the deployment of the Faurecia Excellence System, is to drive the implementation of Production Control & Logistics (PC&L) tools and methodologies within the plants. The main missions of the role are to:

  • Lead & manage the PC&L Improvement Coordinators network:
      • Ensure that resources dedicated to PC&L Continuous Improvement Management activities of sites are fulfilled at the right level;
      • Participate in the recruitment of the improvement coordinators of the site; is involved in their annual appraisal interviews;
      • Ensure that IC network are working on appropriate priorities leading to efficient targets, actions, synergies and good practices;
      • Manage and execute the training programs for IC teams to develop competencies;
      • Manage the capabilities development and succession plan;
      • Lead and animate all periodic meetings and events of IC network;
  • Define the objectives of the Division PC&L IC network issued from the Group PC&L objectives:
      • Benchmark permanently the best PC&L practices inside and outside Faurecia.
      • From the Value Stream mapping, identify the priorities to maximize the Service Level, minimize the logistic costs and inventories and accelerate the physical flows from suppliers to customers:
      • Promote the right usage of PC&L standards toward Purchasing and New Programs networks;
  • Lead and coordinate the deployment of PC&L standards, guidelines, working methods, methodologies and tools in Faurecia sites through site teams and toward Suppliers:
      • Drive improvement initiatives to achieve inventory flex targets;
      • Work with Division Transportation to find correct balance between inventory and freight costs;
      • Production planning and material management (SIOP/MPS/MRP);
      • Shop floor Scheduling and leveling(Pull system, Warehouse Management, Kanban, Lisa manifest);
      • Suppliers Logistics Guidelines and Protocols;
      • Logistics FMEA; MIFD;
      • Physical Flows (receiving, flat storage, shipping, packaging and labeling);
      • Collaborative Applied Information Systems toward suppliers (EDI; Web-EDI);
  • Perform the FES roadmaps assessment related to PC&L Management;
  • Perform the standard trainings of the Group PC&L Academy programs;
  • Help sites in front of customer shutdown crisis due to supply chain issues.


Qualifications :

The ideal candidate will have/be:

  • Bachelors degree in engineering, supply chain/logistics,
  • 5 years of experience in Production Control & Logistics management in plant enviornments
  • Knowledge of Logistics Tools
  • Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP)
  • International mind set, overseas experience a plus
  • Ability to travel 25%, up to 50%
