Our Core Engineering team is looking for an Engineering Intern for its Auburn Hills, Michigan – USA location.  This position has frequent responsibilties at our Featherstone location as well.

The main missions of the role may include:

• Provide good problem solving techniques to interiors development teams
• Help develop tools and processes ensuring product and process conformance to customer and plant quality, cost, and delivery targets (PPAP on time)
• Support the Product Process & Validation team with product testing
• Product assembly and tear down to support Product Process & Validation objectives
• Administrative support to technical team members
• Implementation/maintenance of inventory control systems  

The ideal candidate will have/be:

• Pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in engineering, Supply Chain management
• Capable of some local travel, to plants and/or supplier sites
• A “hands-on” attitude, willing and able to engage directly with product, tools, and equipment in the plant environment as needed to solve technical issues
• Experience with Microsoft Office expected, and Minitab statistical software considered a plus
• Technical reporting experience is a plus
• Fluent in English, competent in communication
