  1. To be eligible for the VIE program, you must be European, aged between 18-28 old and graduated from a master/engineering degree
  2. Your application must be submitted in English to be considered by our non-French speaking teams in our plants worldwide.
  3. As part of your international development, you cannot perform a VIE in the country of your citizenship.


The VIE Program of Faurecia is an international young graduate program, which enables young graduates native from the European Economic Area (EU + Norway, Liechtenstein and Iceland) aged between 18 and 28 to work for one of our subsidiary around the world!

We are looking for Quality Engineer VIE who will provide support to the Faurecia Automotive Seating and therefore has regular interactions with all global sites, and who will be based in Hannover, Germany.


Being part of Seating Business Group Quality team, you will have to participate and lead transversal projects linked to Total Customer Satisfaction strategy deployment across the organization. Also, as quality representative within production, you ensure product & process conformity in accordance with the control plan and the right application of the quality principles and contribute to continuous improvement.

The mission will last 12 months [renewable 12 more months.]


Here are the main responsibilities of this role : 

Total Customer Satisfaction & Quality transversal projects:
▪    Define and deploy customer satisfaction metrics to cover the entire customer journey. 
▪    Participate to identify all the customer interfaces and work on a customer centric strategy from pre-acquisition to after sales phase


Main missions
▪    Define and update the inspection instructions according to the control plan 
▪    Approve the work instructions on the production lines and ensure that all necessary inspections are included. Check that the necessary time is allocated in the standardized work sheets and that the related measuring equipment is available and meets requirements
▪    Ensure the respect of the quality standards 
▪    Participate actively to the Engineering Change Request deployment. Archive all quality records in accordance with the control plan.
▪    Support the production supervisors in the implementation of the Quality Basics in Production 
▪    Performs regular audits (covering all shifts) to ensure respect of the standard.
▪    Active participation in the 8D and sustain the rigorous application of the mindset
▪    Update daily the quality indicators for the UAP and ensure that the quality indicators are well tracked by the GAP Leader for the lines.



The ideal candidate will be/have:

  • Master’s degree or Engineer Diploma
  • Familiar with Program Management System.
  • Knowledge in quality tools
  • Fluent in English
  • Rigorous and autonomous
  • Team player with strong communication skills.
  • International mind-set.
