To strengthen our team in Hagenbach we are looking for a:


Intern in the Innovation field (w-m-d)


Your role and responsibilities?


The trainee will be integrating an established innovation project team and he will be part of innovation department based in Hagenbach, Germany.

The challenge is to support design thinking creativity methods. Key objective is to define new products that could be integrated in the coming car interior.


Main Mission:


The trainee will support the innovation project manager to define the right concept for the prototyping. The projects are mostly oriented to mechanical and mechatronics applications. He will be also in charge to challenge and describe the industrialization of the concept defined. He will be supported by internal and external expert like supplier for the manufacturing of raw material or/and even transformation process. He will be in charge to define and validate the conception and manufacturing process through numerical modeling, including the software Catia, and Arduino application. He will have to built-up physical mockups for analysis and validation.

The main objective is to deliver a finish mock-up that has successfully to demonstrate the function and could be used for UX evaluation




  • Modelling (Catia)
  • Concept Description included Bill of Material (BOM) and Key Concept Characteristic (KCC), Concept matrix with
  • criteria for selection.
  • Validation Plan with Test report associated, and test method associated.
  • Numerical models and analyses that support the conception decisions taken.
  • Part and Mock-up
  • UX testing




  • Engineering school (mechatronics, mechanical or similar)
  • Languages: English, German and/or French is a plus
  • Good knowledge of all Microsoft IT
  • CatiaV5 basics
  • Arduino programming, basics about sensing and motorization.
  • Ability to work in an internal environment.
  • Sense of initiative, rigorous, curious, interpersonal skills
