Overall responsibilities and duties:

 

The role of the Human Resources Business Partner is to support the HR Manager in the day-to-day HR management, in accordance with the Group's human resources policies and procedures.

 

The main missions of the role are:

 

  • Assist the HR Manager in personnel administration, implementation of group HR policies and their follow-up, staffing issues or industrial relations.
  • Propose action plans and participate in their deployment.
  • Collect information and prepare reports in line with Group HR policies for month-end figures and follow up indicators.
  • Ensure that the organization complies with labor laws.
  • Manage all Personal files and Employee Administration and Documentations. Respects Segregation of Duties according to the ICB requirements.
  • Assist in weekly payroll duties and related reporting, Ensuring all relevant data for the Payroll processing (overtime, absenteeism, holidays, etc.)
  • Ensures payroll timekeeping is accurate.
  • Conduct new hire enrollments and on-boarding.
  • Maintain employee files and answer employee queries related to payroll.
  • Assist in tracking training data for all departments and prepare weekly and monthly reports.
  • FMLA / STD administration and tracking (US only)
  • Prepares HR correspondence and plant communications.
  • Track data and prepare reports for daily, weekly and month end reporting.
  • Collects working hours of temporary workers.
  • Administrate company benefits plan
  • Acts as Business Partner to the shop floor teams:
  • Advice and coach Supervisors
  • Assist Supervisors in understanding and enforcing company policies and 7 Employee Empowerment Basics.
  • Manage Social Committee and Events
  • Other HR initiatives as assigned by the Site HR Manager or Site Plant Manager.
  • Participate in training or Health Safety & Environment (HSE) issues if necessary.
  • Administrate Training Plan (MOD and MOI)

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Minimum education level:  Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or equivalent.

 

Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the HR function within an industrial environment

 

Skills & Competencies:

 

  • A good knowledge of employment law
  • Familiarity with HR information and payroll systems
  • International mind set
  • Results orientation
  • Strong written and oral communications skills
  • Proficient in English
