The VIE Program of Faurecia is an international young graduate program, which enables young graduates native from the European Economic Area (EU + Norway, Liechtenstein and Iceland) aged between 18 and 28 to work for one of our subsidiary around the world!

Your position and environment?

 

Our Faurecia Automobile Seating Business Group is looking for you as VIE Lean Manufacturing Engineer in our plant in Highland Park, Michigan, United-States.

Your role and responsibilities

Your main missions will be to:

  • Identify cost reduction priorities and opportunities, and support plant FES&P team to manage (facilitate/lead + follow-up) the activities and workshop necessary to achieve the cost reduction (manufacturing cost, packaging, MOD: Direct Labor, non[1]quality, etc.)
  • Deploy the most relevant FES fundamentals to impact Plant Priorities.
  • Conjointly with plant FES&P manager, participates to the budget construction and budget validation by insuring that Efficiency target, Productivity target, headcount target are consistent with manning potential, standard routings and Efficiency.
  • In case of new program, support plant Launch.
  • Manage the deployment of best practices and experience.
  • Get involved in others divisions workshops.
  • Active participation in Industrial Projects and new launches to be sure all FES / Lean Manufacturing principles are considered
  • Together with the rest of functions participates in Digital transformation solutions adapting it to FES requirements 

 

 

The mission will last 12 months.

Candidate profile

  • Network animation, coaching and influencing/persuasion skills
  • Ability to train and coach within the plant
  • Continuous improvement mind set
  • Ability to master change
  • Understand basic P&L and  operational levers
  • Fluent English language knowledge: written and spoken
  • Problem Diagnosis and analytic skills to understand contexts and define/support the definition of action plans
