The VIE Program of Faurecia is an international young graduate program, which enables young graduates native from the European Economic Area (EU + Norway, Liechtenstein and Iceland) aged between 18 and 28 to work for one of our subsidiary around the world!

Your position and environment?


Our Faurecia Automotive Seating – Covers & Foam Solutions Division is looking for you as a VIE Program Quality Leader.


Your role and responsibilities?


The role of a VIE Program Quality Leader is to protect and support the dedicated program by focusing on Quality target achievement, risk assessments and derived convergence activities. The functional perimeter includes the interaction with the Customer and internal functions (Core Team, Prototype-/Supplier-/Plant Quality) and the generation of Quality deliverables defined in the PMS. The perimeter covers the period from RFQ to Gate #4. The main missions of the PQL function are:

  • Quality management system & management responsibility:
  • Ensure that Program Quality related KPI’s are available for all relevant parties (maintenance of HELIOS and share place) and prepare and escalate identified risks appropriately (Core Team Meeting, Q-TOP5, Program Alert, ... )
  • Assess program risks with focus on the customer specific requirements and guide the involved functions towards objective achievement (e.g. Customer PPM, NRFT, PSR, PQA, OTD, Customer PPAP)
  •  Product realization:
  • Ensure in line with the PMS Master Schedule and Decision Rights Matrix, that the Quality work packages are properly scheduled and delivered on time.
  • Establish and monitor the appropriate application of all quality principles and tools relevant in Acquisition and Program phase:
    • 7 Quality Basics In Development, 4 Program Mandatory Rules
    • Early Risk Assessment, Quality Target Study & Technical Quality Agreement, KPC & KCC list, D- and P-FMEA, Control Plans for all phases, PIST & PIPC calculation,PSR calculation, Program QRQC, Base & Defect Convergence Plan, Process Qualification Audit to ensure:
      • S/R related KPC identification until GR#2A -> efficient Prototype Control Plan
      • S/R related KPC securization until “saleable car start” / SOP -> efficient Pre-Production and Production Control Plan
      • Full approved Customer PPAP at GR#4
  • Measurement, analysis & improvement:
  • Support the inspection gauge definition and validation process and ensure the compliance of all inspection means with the actual KPC & KCC list and the actual Control Plan
  • Monitor the KPC & KCC capability growth (PIST & PIPC, SPC) and ensure the application of related Convergence Plans (Base Convergence Plan & Defect Convergence Plan starting at GR#3)
  • Ensure the consideration of Lessons Learnt derived from S/R alerts in all D- and P-FMEAS
  •  Generic tasks:
  • Respect Quality targets defined by the Program Quality Manager and Program Manager
  • Respect the Quality system rules
  • Stop the prototype and pre-series manufacturing and the delivery of products, when Product Quality is not ensured
  • Stop any kind of process, when the related HSE mandatory rules are not respected


The mission will last 12 months (renewable once up to 12 months).



Who are you?

  • Master’s degree in Engineering, or in a Business School with a specialization in Quality
  • Fluent in English is a must
  • Product and process oriented
  • Good communication and leadership skills
  • Experience in Quality or production is welcomed
  • Ability to work with basic Ms word, excel, etc.
  • Willingness to travel and be flexible
  • Proactive, self-motivated and willing to optimize on current processes and procedures 
  • Open minded and able to work in multidisciplinary teams
