For our SAS Division, we are currently recruiting for a Head of Corporate Supplier Quality Management, to be based in Karlsruhe.


Main Responsibilties:


The Head of Corporate Supplier Management will represent the SAS Supplier Quality Management towards SAS-plants, -supplier and -customers and own the responsibility to approve and dismiss suppliers, following our quality standards.
Main Mission:


• Establishment, evolution and training of supplier quality management standards
• Monitoring and reporting of global supplier KPI performances to SAS management
• Preparation and negotiation of General Quality Assurance Agreements ready for sign off
• Preparation and negotiation of Project Specific Quality Assurance Agreements
• Administration supplier quality contracts and certifications (SLC Supplier Quality Life Cycle Management)
• Coordination Second Party Audits VDA 6.3 and escalation critical suppliers
• Supplier selection and approval of SAS mandated direct material suppliers
• Measuring Equipment concept development and design
• Measuring Equipment approval
• Contribute expert knowledge to the global SQA/STA organization and share best practices, lessons learned with SAS
• Contribute expert knowledge to the acquisition- and project teams
• First escalation level for Supplier Quality issues


The ideal candidate will have:


• Degree in Engineering or similar
• Profound experience in the field of supplier quality, ideally in automotive
• Know-how in IAFT 16949 and profound skills in Auditor VDA 6.3
• Familiar with customer supplier and legal regulations
• Experience in multi-project management
• Entrepreneurial mind-set with a can do attitude
• Modern management- and communication skills to develop and manage the team
• Agility to understand and adapt to Faurecia Organization
• Intercultural and open mindset with great social skills
• Lean & Quality standards experience
• Fluency in English and German
• Standard PC Software knowledge (MS Office etc) and SAP
• Ideally train the trainer certification
