We’re hiring a Maintenance Manager

Our Clean Mobility Division is looking for a Maintenance Manager for its manufacturing facility in Louisville, Kentucky to develop and maintain manufacturing processes for current and new production line through coordination with manufacturing and product teams.

 

You’ll work on challenges that matter:

This job will require you to

  • Evaluate manufacturing processes using and managing PMM System and applying knowledge of Machine failures, tooling, and materials, soliciting observation from operators.
  • Review existing control measures, comment on effectiveness, and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Participate in educational meetings/training sessions to instruct employees in matters pertaining to environmental concerns and occupational health and safety programs and procedures.
  • May interface with OSHA or EPA inspectors on behalf of the company
  • Participate in the development of programs, policies and procedures related to environmental, safety and maintenance.
  • Develop, communicate, and implement preventative maintenance requirements and equipment records for all production equipment. Establish guidelines and proper maintenance procedure and spare part inventory levels to assure efficient and cost-effective repair.
  • Assist maintenance personnel in troubleshooting equipment and facility problems.
  • Assist with purchasing or replacement of required equipment components.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; participating in professional societies.
  • Provide guidance and training to Gap Leaders, Maintenance Technicians and Set-up Personnel to aid in the development of their skills. Train production personnel to run the job properly and safely.
  • Participate in the development and maintenance of process documentation: Work Instruction,Welding Parameters Sheet, PM Instructions Level 1, level 2, Level 3, Level 4.
  • Contribute to team effort by following-through on related projects and goals, as needed; active participation on teams to achieve results.

 

 

The ideal candidate:

To succeed in this position, you will ideally have:

  • Practical knowledge of the Faurecia Excellence System and a keen attention to detail to ensure quality.
  • Minimum education level:  Associates degree in related field required or equivalent experience
  • Facility Experience: cooling tower, electrical knowledge, fume extraction, elevation equipment, fabricator.   
  • Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and administrative skills
  • Mechanical, Welding, SKS and Miller equipment knowledge, Robotics ( Fanuc & Motoman), PLC Troubleshooting, and Flexibility.
  • Knowledge of Welding and Manufacturing Methods Backups.
  • Good working knowledge of machinery, Robotic Processes and Programming, PLC, Welding, Quality Operating Systems.
  • Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with Company Policies and Safety Programs.
  • An international mindset
  • Ability to work with cross functional teams across the globe
  • Ability to Learn on the Fly, Drive for Results and Cultivate Innovation
  • Proficient level of English
