We are looking for a Central Financial Controller in our Research & Development Center for our Interiors entity, based in Méru.

 

The Central Financial Controller is in charge of securing and supporting the fullfillment of transversal missions across the Engineering Division under the supervision of the Division Controlling Manager in close proximity with the local BAU (Business Accounting Units) Controllers.

The main missions of the role are to:

 

  • Animate the Division reporting of profit and loss.
    • Centralize and consolidate the monthly reporting (actual and final closing), control the the consistency of data in our finance reporting application (Actual Global P&L, Actual P&L per program).
    • Centralize and consolidate the Forecast reporting (monthly forecast), control the the consistency of data in our finance reporting application.
    • Participate in the yearly Budget process.

 

  • Lead and analyse the Division operational cash reporting.
    • In relation with the local BAU Controllers, explain the deviations of the operational cash results against forecast and budget.
    • Control, correct and explain the forecasts prepared by the local BAU controllers.
    • Ensure the exactitude of the forecasts reporting into our finance reporting application.

 

  • Analyse and update the Division Capex spending.
    • Ensure the monthly updating of Capex rolling forecast in close relation with local BAU Controllers and operational Managers.
    • Identify and alert in case of needed arbitration.
    • Report to Interiors entity capex managers.
    • Provide methodoligical support for Capex request creation and workflow monitoring.

 

  • Lead the Divison Accounts Receivable overdues follow-up.
    • Organize and document the Division current overdues.
    • Analyse and explain the root causes, provide solutions in close proximity with local BAU Controllers and our Global Accounting team.

 

  • Lead the Divison Internal Control function.
    • Organize yearly self-assessments at Division level, ensure action plans are enforced.
    • Provide support to local BAU in case of Group assessment and internal audits.
    • Develop best practices sharing across the Division, while benchmarking with other Business Groups.

 

  • Ensure the transversal controlling for the Innovation department.
    • Provide results and explanation to Innovation department managers at Division and BAU levels.
    • Ensure the financial targets achievement of the department.

 

  • Document and challenge the French Tax Credit and other subvention schemes.
    • Provide required information to the external consultant firm.
    • Follow up and challenge audits and achievements to maximise the benefits
  • Qualifications :

    The ideal candidate will have/be:

  • Business School or Engineering background with a Finance degree or Masters Degree in Finance
  • Minimum 5/10 years experience preferrably including a first controlling experience
  • Overseas Team Management experience is a plus
  • Ability to manage uncertainty and resist to stakeholder pressure
  • Demonstrated strong communication skills and autonomy
  • Good negotiation skills and arbitration abilities
  • Good knowledge of Faurecia business model
  • Ability to challenge status quo and implement effective changes to improve controlling performance
  • Fluent in 2 languages including english
