Our IT Department - Group Information Systems (GIS) is looking for an IT System Administrator (m/f) to be based in Bezdecin (Mlada Boleslav), Czech Republic.

As a member of the Central infrastructure build team, you will ensure the support of all Windows / Linux and Virtualized platforms in Faurecia’s Datacenters and in the Cloud used by Faurecia to ensure a 24/7 activity worldwide.

You will participate on the issues solving and will be in charge of projects preparation and deployment.


Your main missions and roles are to:


  • Technical lead in Windows and Linux Operating systems, Hyper-V, Exchange, Skype, VmWare domain.


  • Define the rules and strategies for the entrusted technical domain
  • Test and validate technical solutions
  • Be a point of contact for the corresponding Competence Centers
  • Follow the technical platform (reporting, KPI follow up and warn in case of ongoing potential issues)
  • Automate processes
  • Create and maintain documentation
  • Create and maintain procedures
  • Train people
  • Prepare procedures 
  • Validate and distribute the incidents (Stratos) and changes (Mosaic) for the technical domain supported according to the urgency.
  • Ensure the Technology watch (follow market trends and point potential solutions)


  • Business Continuity to deliver and improve the service to our customers:


  • Ensure that all systems located in the datacenters are under control/managed/well supported to provide services for applications.
  • Ensure a good quality of service and documentation
  • Collaborate among GIS teams to deliver a corporate service to our customers.
  • Ensure a good level of service for our perimeter (Incident tickets and requests managed properly and in a timely manner)
  • Project management for a better anticipation:
  • Structure the operations and projects within PDCA, risk analysis and fail back plan.
  • Actively participate to major projects and work in collaboration with the competence centers.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree in IT Infrastructure or Systems (or equivalent qualification)
  • Minimum 7 years of experience  

You can demonstrate the following competencies:

  • Ability to manage projects, work on own initiative and as part of the team
  • High technical skills or special know-how in:
    • Management of Hardware incidents
    • Windows servers 2008/2012/2016/2019
    • Micorosoft SQL server 2012 / 2014 / 2016 / 2017
    • VMware technologies vSphere, vCenter, SRM
    • Microsoft Hyper-V
    • Landesk / Ivanti
    • Citrix
    • Symantec Antivirus
    • Exchange Server 2010 / Office 365
    • Active Directory
    • Skype
    • Linux (mainly Red hat including Satellite solution)
    • Storage (IBM SAN solutions + NetApp)
    • Cloud solutions


  • Proficiency in English language: oral and written
