In this context, our IT Division (Group Information Systems) is looking for his/her IT Technical Shopfloor operations specialist L3 (m/f) to be based in Mlada Boleslav, Czech Republic.

Being part of the MES & DSS (Digital Shopfloor Systems) Competence Center team within Global Infrastructure Systems & Operations organization, your role will be to design industrial environements, provide standards, rules, documentation, deploy and provide worldwide support for shopfloor applications and assure that the users are receiving the agreed Service from IT Shared Services, defined in a common Service Level Agreement (SLA).


Main missions:

  • Design industrial server environments based on Linux operating system
  • Installation, monitoring, management of virtualized platforms, system configuration
  • Incident resolution
  • Documentation management
  • Project leadership
  • New architecture/technologies development, testing, validation, deployment
  • Monitoring of servers and peripherals to ensure their availability
  • Handling and solving user requirements regarding IT services in the ticket systems
  • On duty support , partially week-end operations

The ideal candidate will be/have:

  • Bachelor's degree with a specialisation in Information Technology or comparable skills and hands on experiences.
  • Good level of knowledge with at least one of the following:
    • Linux server administration (RHEL, CentOS)
    • Virtualisation VMware
    • MySQL or other DBs
    • Shell scripting
    • Kubernetes cluster (OpenShift or similar)
    • Cloud environments AWS, Azure


  • 5 years of experience on  remote support administration
  • Structured and autonomous
  • Diplomatic, good communication skills, ability to work with different countries and cultures
  • Minimum bi-lingual (English required)
