Our Faurecia Clean Mobility Business Group is looking for a CO2 Neutrality Leader & Industrial Excellence (IPEX) apprentice (m/f/d) for its site in Nanterre, France.


The main responsibility of the role is:

In the path to CO2 neutrality by 2025 (Scope 1&2), you will be assisting the CO2 Neutrality Leader in his mission to coordinate all 90 FCM sites across the world in the actions to become CO2 neutral.

As a core team member of the Industrial team within Global Operations, the standardization, continuous improvement and performance follow-up of Final assembly within FCM, you are assisting the Global IPEX Manager XLT/Canning/Silencer in his activities.


The main missions of the role are:


CO2 :

  • Be the main contact point for all 90 FCM sites across the world for their monthly reporting of Energy consumption & CO2.
  • Analyze data shared by the sites and be responsible of monthly reporting via an excel tool.
  • Improve the excel tool and make it more automatized.
  • Participate to the monthly reviews with all divisions (China / North America / Europe / Mercosur…) and challenge them on their results regarding energy efficiency and CO2.



  • Provide best practices per process, Lessons learned and collect plant feedback KPI such as C/O, CT, m², DLE, TRS, etc.
  • Document and report improvement of KPI’s and main drivers of improvement.
  • Analyze and compare performance of equipment between the lines, plants and division.
  • Support to adapt new equipment to 10 Lean Equipment concepts together with lean equipment design specialist/expert.
  • Review Investment documentation together with CAPEX Director and Program Teams.
  • Ensure equipment is in line with CAPEX targets, minimum technical solution approach for scalable equipment • Support ME organization in operations/divisions.
  • Assist with roll-out strategy of equipment per region considering footprint to improve KPI’s

This position is to be filled from January 2022 for a period of 12 months (renewable).

The ideal candidate will have:

  • In process of Master’s degree in Engineering
  • Interest in sustainability and industrial ecology
  • Willingness to learn about manufacturing processes
  • Advanced skills in Excel (macro, pivot table..), PowerPoint and MSOffice tools
  • Good analytical capabilities
  • Fluent in English
  • Communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong planning and organizing skills
  • Basic knowledge of industrial processes, Lean Manufacturing principles, lean industrial design, lean equipment design
  • Manufacturing Engineering knowledge
