Overall responsibilities and duties:

 

Within Faurecia Clean Mobility the Continuous Improvement & Operations Quality Manager is responsible to lead global Improvement and Operational Quality projects, with focus on improving the efficiency and global collaboration between the FCM Divisions and Functions. S/He will drive a continuous improvement culture throughout all Divisions and Functions. Central to success will be strong problem solving and project management skills combined with the motivation and energy to drive transformational change.

 

The main missions of the role, in full compliance with Code of Ethics and Code of Management, are:

 

  • Drive the operational deployment of the 8 Quality Basics in FCM (training, coaching, support)
  • Lead global key initiatives with cross-functional project teams to ensure the target outcome is achieved with defined time, resources and budget;
  • Work with management to identify key projects that will provide the optimum benefits to our customers and the business results;
  • Provide management with project status updates, feedback, and appropriate reporting on key process focused objectives;
  • Contribute to enhance Problem Solving skills within FCM through project work, improvement of tools and techniques as well as trainings and coaching
  • Support best practice exchange between the Divisions and plants.
  • Drive a strong transformation of the quality function toward preventive and customer focused policy.
  • Foster passion for Quality within FCM Operations, Engineering and other key functions

 

 

S/He will have to work closely with our TCS & Quality Division Leaders and Global Function Leaders (Supplier Quality, Engineering Quality, Warranty & Claims Management) to ensure full alignment and successful implementation of the solutions on a global scale.

 

Qualifications:

 

Minimum education level:  Master’s degree in in Engineering or related field

 

Experience:

 

  • Degree qualified in a business or technical discipline; An advanced degree, will be well regarded.
  • Minimum 7-10 years professional/technical experience in industrial environment with high quality standards
  • Track record of success in implementing change.
  • Automotive experience with quality systems and standards preferred

  • Knowledge of 8 Quality basics
  • Strong transformation / change leadership mindset and experience
  • Drive for Results - Can be counted on to achieve goals successfully
  • Strong problem-solving skills (8D/A3 standards)
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to identify and explain critical issues
  • Good knowledge of actual digital tools and standards in manufacturing and quality
  • Ability to partner effectively functionally across functions within a matrix organization, with geographically dispersed teams
  • Process and lean management orientation and experience
  • Ability to coach/train other people
  • Customer centric acumen
  • Willingness and ability to travel regularly 
  • English Language fluency required
