Defines, obtains validation and implements the Division Commodity strategy, in alignment with the company’s Purchasing policy and the GCD Panel Strategy.

  • Supports PPL (Program Purchasing Leader) for Sourcing Committee in terms of Supplier Panel and Nego Escalations.
  • Implements his validated Segment Strategy across all Faurecia plants in the Division,
  • Updates monthly Segment Sourcing Strategy (Dream Panel) and obtains validation of the GCD for his/her Dream Panel.
  • Manage the Budget Process for his/her Supplier Base.
  • Ensures strict application of Purchasing Processes related to Supplier Relationship Management
  • Gate Keeper for In/Out and NBOH Process
  • Identify and Build synergies within his segment and across sites and/or regions.
  • Identifies, facilitates, enhance innovation through organization of VAVE workshops
  • Develop high level of Technical knowledge, Cost understanding, Market awareness on his Segments and interacts with relevant networks (R&D, Operations, PC&L) to support Technical Development Plan & Make or Buy Process at Division Levels.
  • Collaborate with Operations and Project Network to solves critical operational, project or contract execution issues
  • Arbitrates allocation of Capacity in case of Crisis Situation
  • Manage Budget Process and Mid Term Plan for his/her Supplier base:
    • QCD Improvement,
    • Goal Setting and Action Plan,
    • Leads Supplier Negotiations of his/her Supplier Base
      Monitors the KPI of his/her suppliers and take appropriate measures

  • Engineer or Bachelor’s degree in business administration
  • MBA Purchasing preferred
  • Must be willing to travel 50% of the time, both domestically and internationally 
  • A minimum of 5 years of automotive industry experience within a multinational company, with at least 2 years of management experience in purchasing across multiple sites 
  • Proven ability to negotiate and manage strategic supplier contracts involving senior management
  • Accomplished track record in developing purchasing strategies
