Essential responsibilities and duties
The Productivity Buyer is responsible for improving the supplier performance in production (quality, cost, delivery) for several plants, in line with purchasing strategy.
The main missions of the role are:
o Support purchasing budget construction by sizing potential saving for ideas in the pipeline
o Establish, feed and monitor detailed portfolio for VAVE, MoB and resourcing activities
o Execute and coordinate actions with stakeholders to reach budget targets
o Contribute to plant results review with operations, finance, controlling
o Accountable for the series purchasing performance of plant(s) under his/her scope
o Contribute to efficient handover at Gate 4 lead by Program buyers
o Participate ECR meetings in series, lead ECR related actions for purchasing scope
o Execute resourcing and Make or Buy in serial life, based on Operation's priorities and Commodity Buyers guidance
o Manage transfer/resourcing/relocalization activities with suppliers in series.
o Execute risk mitigation plan defined by commodity, support administrative actions
o Review and monitor weekly purchasing productivity plan under his/her scope, lead performance review with plant teams
o Identify and implement all productivity actions (int/ext VAVE) in coordination with Commodity Buyers and relevant functions
o Define and Coordinate activities with commodity and SQ&D representatives to develop Supplier workshops and value-creation initiatives
o Implement best practices in his/her scope
o Support troubleshooting activities linked to delivery /supply chain disruption when escalation from PC&L and Quality. Involve commodity when necessary (threshold to be defined)
o Support execution of admin actions to be done at plant level (temporary outsourcing/ resourcing)

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have/be :
Minimum Education Level: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or Business.
Nice to have: Specialization in international purchasing or supply chain
Experience:
o Minimum 3 years experience in purchasing, production, quality or sales
Nice to have: Automotive experience would be an advantage
Skills and competencies:
o Knowledge of productivity / lean management methodology
o Knowledge of production, quality and logistics
o Fluent English
o Ability to work in matrix organization
o Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Supplier audit process and quality management
