Overall responsibilities and duties:

 

The Program Cost Analyst role is to drive the speed and accuracy of program cost consilidation process coordinating with/ challanging/ validating vaious cost elements with various fucntions such as but not limkted to product and process engineering, plant engineering and controlling, purchase, logstics and similar const contributing entiites. The process shall follow the defined RFQ and costing processes along with the candidates interpersonal skills to reach agreements with peer groups/ work teams on logical judgements and take the process to the end within stipulated time frame.

 

  • Provide cost information and follow up (driving, monitoring, challanging, explanation)
    • Analyse & challenge applicable cost information provided
    • Consolidate cost data according to defined product and industrial path
    • Support program controller in Business Plan including Risks & Opportunities
  • Support program costing processes
    • Assist and guide representative teams through RFQ process
    • Working knowledge of relevant manufacturing practices: Bend/End form, silencers, converters, welding, and system assembly.
  • Working knowledge/capability in the following tools, but not limited to:
    • SAP (BOP/manufacturing costs)
    • Octoplus
    • TcPCM / SIT
    • Cost Estimator
  • Openness to learning/ adopting newer tools, methods and technologies.
    • New value spaces (product and processes)
    • Future costing tools like Autoform, process tool costing

 

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have/be:

  • BS or Associates level degree in engineering or rellavant field
  • Minimum 2-3 years work experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Project team work experience with a level of accountability  
  • Good communication skills and autonomy
  • Fluent in English.
  • Some level of international business exposure
