Faurecia’s VIE Program?

 

The VIE Program of Faurecia is an international young graduate program, which enables young graduates native from the European Economic Area (EU + Norway, Liechtenstein and Iceland) aged between 18 and 28 to work for one of our subsidiary around the world!

PLEASE NOTE BEFORE APPLYING:

To be eligible for the VIE program, you must be European, aged between 18-28 old and graduated from a master/engineering degree

Your application must be submitted in English to be considered by our non-French speaking teams in our plants worldwide.

As part of your international development, you cannot perform a VIE in the country of your citizenship.

 

Overall responsibilities and duties

 

The Industrial Strategy Coordinator VIE supports Industrial Strategy in development and deployment of FCM Global Footprint Strategy including all related Land & Building activities of the Business Group.

 

The main missions of the role are:

 

  • Conduct industrial studies to improve footprint, plant size, p2p-allocation, etc

 

  • Ensure proper execution & implement routine with Divisions:

          o   to follow-up projects defined in Strategic Plan, i.e. massification

          o   to reach expected targets (FI, Timing etc.)

 

  • Integrate max. equipment utilization and min. CAPEX consumption

 

  • Support studies on M&A

 

  • Participate to the Global FCM Footprint Strategy in line with the overall Faurecia strategy, BG functions, Product Lines and FCM Divisions.

 

  • In collaboration with the Divisions, ensure the proper application of the strategy regarding new plants, relocations, downsizing, closure.

 

  • Define Massification and Specialization strategy to support the best efficient footprint. Follow Product to Plant allocation, transfers and restructuration projects.

 

  • Develop and deploy tools to describe, analyse and improve the manufacturing footprint, incl. (quick) simulation of options.

 

  • Develop and deploy monitoring and reporting. Capitalize and share best practices

 

  • Internal and external benchmarking

 

Minimum education level:  Master’s Degree in in Engineering or Business Administration

 

Experience:

 

  • 1 year of Industrial Experience (Internships and Apprenticeships can be considered)

 

Skills & Competencies:

 

  • Fluent English Mandatory and excellent communication skills including ability to manage multi-cultural working groups
  • Fluent in IT communication networks & tools (PPT/Intranet/SharePoint/Teams/smartsheets/Power BI…) and able to learn fast on others with autonomy
  • Fluent in data bases and Excel advanced features and connectivity tools
  • Modelisation skills (communicate complex with simple visual approach) and written communication
  • Innovation mindset and able to make proposals
  • Able to drive multi-functional working teams to get to a common understanding of common benefit of change
  • Customer oriented (internal & external)
  • Global value chain understanding and quality/rigor mindset
  • International Mindset
