The VIE Program of Faurecia is an international young graduate program, which enables young graduates native from the European Economic Area (EU + Norway, Liechtenstein and Iceland) aged between 18 and 28 to work for one of our subsidiary around the world!

Overall responsibilities and duties:

Sales Engineer is responsible for the Sales development of the assigned portfolio of products, for a delimited perimeter (Program, Serial Life, Acquisitions) within a Division / Region

 

The main missions of the role are:

 

Serial Life :

  • Prepare and negotiate the commercial answers to the customer ECRs (“Engineering Changes Requests”)
  • Detailed understanding of piece price, tooling and D&D impact
  • Follow the Variable Cost Margin of the products
  • Prepare anf follow commercial productivity proposals
  • Understanding and commercial management of local economics (inflation, exchange rate)
  • Understanding and rigourous implementation of the Sales Administration guidelines & processes (purchase orders, invoices, terms of payment, overdues…)
  • Commercial management for Spare Parts
  • Prices control accoding in line with ICB rules
  • Peso policy follow up (FER prices update & Q recovery calculation)
  • Overdue follow up with AR team and proactively communicate any risk to the organization
  • MSO Metal economics update and financial impact calculation
  • Accruals control montly follow up with plant

 

Serial Life :

Programs:

  • Prepare and negotiate – on a proactive manner – the commercial answers to the customer ECRs
  • Understanding of the Program Business Plan and associated commercial levers
  • Follow the profitability of the Program
  • Track FM due dates and support on commercial evidence
  • Tooling audits support, (TAR, Pictres and tooling invoices)

 

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have/be:

Minimum education level: Master Degree

 

Skills and competencies:

  • Analytic skills, with a strong financial background, willing to develop his career path in sales
  • This VIE position will commercially control metal programs focusing in two main areas
