IT also plays a lead role in ensuring continuous optimization and cybersecurity of our company processes.

 

Our IT Department - Group Information Systems (GIS) is looking for a Finance Business Analyst to be based in Santa Maria da Feira (Portugal).
The Finance Business Analyst’s role is to support and enrich our SAP core model and other applications in the finance domain. You will support the global organization in the implementation of processes and tools, and act as a SAP expert bridge between the Business stakeholders and Group Information Systems for finance and accounting business processes. You will contribute to innovation and improvement opportunities in the Finance domain (Automation, Digital Transformation, Process Mining).
 

Main Missions and Results:

  • Act as internal SAP expert link for your domain : lead the implementation of the corresponding modules/tools in close cooperation with Users Community and Technical Teams;
  • Support the Functional Design Team Leader in developing and enhancing the ERP core system and other applications in the Finance area;
  • Be the functional expert for worldwide used tools and workflows;
  • Review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and develop strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems;
  • Manage Service requests, support Finance on Incident reporting when necessary, understanding the incident root cause and helping to define corrective actions;
  • Participate in Projects and Conduct meetings with decision makers, system owners, and end users to define requirements and system goals, and identify and resolve system issues.;
  • Support integration activities for data migration, interfaces and data warehouse;
  • Coordinate and perform in-depth tests, including end-user reviews, for modified and new applications & functionalities, and other post-implementation support;
  • Create business requirement documents and technical specifications for finance areas, planning and monitoring change requests process within Global Information Systems.

What we are looking for:

  • A degree in Engineering or Economics & Business School;
  • At least 4 years of professional experience in SAP FICO areas, ideally as an SAP Consultant or part of an SAP Support chain (with customizing and hands-on experience in the key SAP FICO functionalities);
  • Experience in SAP Concur, or VIM (Vendor Invoice Management) or experience on BI and Data Analytics projects will be an advantage;
  • Experience in ABAP programming or debug (optional) would be a plus;
  • Expertise in at least one of the financial processes (Accounts Payable/Receivable, Fixed Asset Accounting, or General Ledger) would be preferred;
  • Experience in project management or project mode is appreciated;
  • Fluency in English (mandatory);
  • Strong customer orientation and Good communication skills preferably in an international environment or GBS organization;
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is a plus
