Faurecia’s VIE Program?


The VIE Program of Faurecia is an international young graduate program, which enables young graduates native from the European Economic Area (EU + Norway, Liechtenstein and Iceland) aged between 18 and 28 to work for one of our subsidiary around the world! Business France, the French agency for international business development, is in charge of all the administrative procedures of your assignment.

Your position and environment?


Our Automotive Seating Business Group is looking for a Packaging Masterdata engineer M/F based in Santa Maria Da Feira, Portugal.


Your role and responsibilities?


Within the transport & packaging engineering team of Faurecia automotive Seating, and in support of our 70 plants worldwide, you will :

• Assist the packaging masterdata quality manager in the data cleansing campain,

• Travel to key plants within Europe for kick-off / training / coaching

• Animate and coach division champions and their 40 european plants + 30 oversea plants (Mexico, US, Brazil, China, Russia, Maghreb...),

• Check consistency of data collected by plant,

• Prepare and run the mass correction transactions in SAP,

• Publish the project progress KPI,

• Improve the process of data cleansing,

• Secure first-time-right process in new production launches,

• Support the roll-out of new tools using packaging data.


The mission will last 12 months, and could be renewed 12 more months


Who are you?


The ideal candidate will have/be:

• Graduated with a master’s degree in industrial or logistics engineering

• Proficient in data analysis (Excel)

• Fully fluent in English

• Good sense of teamwork and leadership

• Used to work in full autonomy and capacity to propose and take initiatives
