Squeeze Controller

Description :

The Squeeze Controller is responsible for internal costing methodology and pricing support for CBU and in charge of standard costing methodology & validation for all plants. He/She is also the key user for Actual-C Standard Analysis.

 

The main duties are:

 

  • Sales Controlling:
    • Supports Sales/CBU team by consistently reporting sales economic figures (budget, actual & forecast). Helps defining and following Key Performance Indicators (KPI) to measure sales squeeze including:
      • LTA
      • Repricing
      • Entry Ticket
      • Claim
      • VAVE

 

  • Purchasing Controlling:
    • Supports purchasing team by consistently reporting Purchasing economic figures (budget, actual & forecast). Helps defining and following Key Performance Indicators (KPI) to measure spends, savings and contractual Payment Terms & Conditions (PT&C) negotiated with suppliers. The purchasing economic squeeze index involves:
      • LTA
      • One-off (Non-recurring)
      • VAVE
      • Internal Productivity

 

  • Industrial Performance:
    • Supports operation team by consistently reporting industrial performance figures (budget, actual & forecast). Helps defining and following Key Performance Indicators (KPI) to measure industrial variances including:
      • Material Productivity
      • DL - Calendarization, Cost of unemployment & other economical
      • DL - Efficiency variances
      • Launch Costs
      • Etc.

 

 

Qualifications :

The ideal candidate will have/be:

  • Bachelor degree or above from a reputable university with major in Finance/Accounting, or Engineering background with good Finance/Accounting knowledge
  • At least 5 to 8 years of professional experience
  • Plant controlling experience is a plus
  • Computer literate and good knowledge of IT systems
  • Ability to provide qualitative and reliable information
  • Ability to manage uncertainty and resist to stakeholder pressure
  • Demonstrated strong communication skills and autonomy
  • Good negotiation skills and arbitration abilities
  • Fluent in 2 languages including English
  • Fully understand and abide the contents of Code of Management and Code of Ethics distributed by Faurecia of these two manuals
