Overall responsibilities and duties:

Within Faurecia Clean Mobility the Global Master Black Belt is responsible to lead the global FCM Six Sigma Program, with focus on managing the successful execution of the projects and training and coaching the Black Belts. S/He will drive a continuous improvement culture throughout all Divisions and Functions. Central to success will be the technical content leadership around the Six Sigma methodology, exceptional communication, and people development skills.


The main missions of the role, in full compliance with Code of Ethics and Code of Management, are:

  • Facilitate and execute the highest and most business-critical business improvements;
  • Lead all Black belt and Green Belt training launches.
  • Provide special skills in application of Six Sigma statistical tools for project evaluation, problem analysis, benefits measurement and tracking;
  • Provide leadership and development for Black belts within their organizational structure to ensure their success.
  • Manage and report upon the Black belt and Green belt projects within their region to ensure all targets are met.
  • Ensure black belt and green belt project targets are achieved.
  • Work with management to identify key projects that will provide the optimum benefits to our customers and the business results;
  • Provide management with project status updates, feedback, and appropriate reporting on key process focused objectives;
  • Work with Six Sigma Director, Master Black Belts and Black Belts to maximize Six Sigma understanding and improvement efforts. This interaction will be across division and BG’s.
  • Identify and work to remove barriers that slow or prevent the successful attainment of six sigma goals & objectives;


S/He will have to work closely with our TCS & Quality Division Leaders and Global Function Leaders (Supplier Quality, Engineering Quality, Warranty & Claims Management) to ensure selection of most important Six Sigma projects and successful support of the Black Belts and Green Belts in executing their projects.




Minimum education level:  Master’s degree in in Engineering or related field




  • Degree qualified in a business or technical discipline; An advanced degree, ideally in a quantitative field, will be well regarded.
  • Minimum 7-10 years professional/technical experience in industrial environment with high quality standards
  • Track record of success in implementing change.
  • Certified Black Belt with minimum two years’ experience within Black Belt role. Master Black Belt experience is a plus.
  • Has demonstrated exception capability in teaching all modules of the DMAIC process.
  • Automotive experience with quality systems and standards preferred
