Our Faurecia Interiors team is looking for a Plant Controller to join our team onsite at our manufacturing plant in Spring Hill, TN.


The role of a Plant Controller is to manage the financial aspects of the operations in order to assure and optimize the plant's financial performance and competitiveness as it relates to performance to budget/forecasts.



  • Guarantee the accuracy of the accounting and financial information for the plant according to the Group, Business Group and Division policies, including compliance with relevant accounting and tax rules
  • Maintain the integrity of the internal controls in adherence with all relevant Faurecia Core Procedures.
  • Maintain the integrity and accuracy of standard costing system in FCS.
  • Responsible for month end close including:
  • Month end accruals
  • Sales and cost adjustments and maintaining of supporting schedules accordingly
  • Validate that all Spring Hill PPV and all other OI and balance sheet adjustments are accurate and posted timely.
  • Determine and ensure the follow-up on raw materials and monitor actual margin on goods sold.
  • Identify and analyze the variances between the budget/forecast and actual results.
  • Using daily dashboard -project throughout the month statistics on performance to forecast.
  • Monitor working capital cash flow throughout the month to assure delivery of forecast
  • Approve all NPP purchase requisitions for Spring Hill plant and develop a tracking tool to assure performance to budget/forecast
  • Ensure the budgetary control of the plant:
  • Develop plant budgets and associated forecasts, as well as plant reporting in accordance with Group procedures and deadlines
  • Develop and maintain budget data
  • Propose and support suggestions when decisions committing the plant are made
  • Participate in the development of action plans and ensure proper financial evaluation and follow-up
  • Ensure the management of plant cost accountant
  • Assist with any additional tasks as assigned by the company
  • Administer Company protocols and processes according to the principles set out in Faurecia’s Code of Management and Code of Ethics



  • Approve or reject any expense (orders or service) in the plant based on budget; including but not limited to:
  • Overtime requests.
  • Exceptional freights.
  • Inventory variances.
  • Cycle counts.
  • Emergency payments.
  • Travel and personal expenses.


Knowledge / Skills:

  • Team management experience and a strong sense of teamwork
  • Business minded
  • Results orientation with strong written and oral communications skills
  • Business School background with a Finance degree or Masters degree in Finance
  • 5 to 10 years of professional experience, according to the size of the site
  • Industrial controlling experience and strong accounting knowledge
