Our Faurecia Interior System Business Group is looking for you as VIE Engineer IT Manufacturing 4.0 in our plant in Tarazona, Spain.


Your role and responsibilities

We are looking for an Engineering IT Manufacturing 4.0 VIE (f/m) to join us !


IT at Faurecia is a key player in our ongoing strategy into a “Digital Transformation.” IT also plays a major role in guaranteeing the service and support that ensures our business succeeds in our fast-moving world.

Each day, IT teams are tackling critical challenges to help build Faurecia’s competitive advantage throughout Digital Transformation. Examples include developing mobile apps, harnessing, and applying Big Data, engaging in predictive analysis, leveraging the cloud and contributing to Faurecia’s cultural shift to become a digitally advanced company. IT also plays a lead role in ensuring continuous optimization and cybersecurity of our company processes.

This position will support the IT department in the development, implementation, and operation of industry 4.0 initiatives and tools, including the Internet of Things (IoT), big data analytics, defect detection, vision systems, and Augmented Reality. Use knowledge of mechanical engineering, product design, materials, tooling, and production capabilities and quality control standards. Defend lean initiatives throughout the organization to improve effectiveness and eliminate waste.


The main missions of the role are to:   


With the coordination of Local IT Responsible, carry out the following tasks; review, recommend, and implement current Industry 4.0 initiatives and tools to support operations, including equipment and process monitoring, data analytics, collaborative automation of advanced vision systems, augmented reality, and defect detection; support corporate initiatives and read through activities and implement them in current operations; develop and implement standards and specifications for equipment and processes that align with Industry 4.0 initiatives and implement those standards in both new releases and current production operations; to analyze and implement various products, tools and software, to improve the productivity and quality of operations.


  • Perform the tasks in a disciplined manner and accept the responsibilities associated with it, according the quality, environment, health and safety policies and the company’s strategic objectives in these areas.
  • Respect and ensure in his/her daily approach the correct and fully implementation of the Faurecia code of ethics (Respect for fundamental Human Rights, Development of economic and social dialogue,  Development of skills, Ethics and rules of business conduct,  if necessary reporting infringements to the Code of Ethics ).
  • Respect and ensure in his/her daily approach the correct and fully implementation of the Faurecia code of management (business planning, business execution, performance management & people development, business ethics)
  • Perform other tasks not specified ago, and necessary to further the objectives of the company and the team


The ideal candidate will be/have:


  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science
  • Basic experience in the use of the Internet of Things, data analysis and management, industry 4.0 initiatives and vision systems, in improving productivity, quality and project management in a manufacturing operation
  • Hands-on experience with process improvements and error proofing using vision systems and automated inspections
  • Program management skills.
  • Able to lead and interact with cross-functional team members to accomplish project tasks and goals.
  • Previous experience with CAD programs or viewers. (ie Solidworks, UG, Catia, AutoCad, etc.)
  • Familiarity with engineering and quality practices and procedures..
  • Ability to communicate and to negotiate & Organization, planning
  • English and Spanish
