As vehicles are becoming increasingly connected and providing new user experiences, the reinforcement of passenger safety and data security is essential. Faurecia’s Tel Aviv - Israel tech platform plays a huge role in dealing with critical vehicle systems and user data. These systems need to be protected against cyber intrusion, espionage, and sabotage, as well as comply with all applicable standards and regulations.

 

Our Cybersecurity Center of Excellence aims at developing our cybersecurity expertise through collaboration with local startups and major innovation clusters, giving access to emerging trends and new technologies. This enables the Group to propose complete end-to-end solutions integrated into the vehicle, securing the software, data, and cloud connectivity.

 

We are looking for a motivated and talented Red Team leader to conduct and drive red team activity in a large-scale company within our Cyb CoE in Tel Aviv, Israel.

 

Principal duties and responsibilities

The right person will have knowledge and experience with advanced concepts such as application manipulation, exploit development and stealthy operations. This position is technical and challenging with opportunities to work in some of the most exciting areas of security on extremely technical and challenging work. If you want to break into segmented secure zones of a large organization, perform reverse engineering, gain access to sensitive data all without being detected, if you want to influence the cybersecurity strategy of a large organization with a highly complex network – this position is for you!

Main responsibilities in this position:

  • Perform system and network penetration, web and mobile application testing, threat analysis, wireless network assessments, and social-engineering assessments
  • Design and develop scripts, frameworks, and tools required for facilitating and executing complex undetected attacks
  • Develop comprehensive and accurate reports and presentations for both technical and executive audiences
  • Work with blue team on remediation plan and increase the cybersecurity level
  • Contribute to the company cybersecurity strategy
  • Lead the entire operation from scenario identification, execution through remediation
  • Recruit, mentor, and guide other team members
  • Co-work with CISO and audit team

 

Qualifications and skills

The ideal candidate will have/be:

Education and experience

  • Ex-intelligence unit or equivalent with relevant hands-on offensive experience in pen-testing and red team operations – must 
  • 6 plus years of commercial experience in offensive cybersecurity and pen-testing with 3 of them as a team leader position
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, electrical engineering or Computer Engineering - an advantage
  • Experience in a multinational company – an advantage

Key technical competencies

-  Experience / familiar with:

  • Experience with Windows and Linux penetration testing
  • Deep OS internal understanding
  • Hands-on experience with IT and OT penetration testing for large scale networks
  • Deep understanding of network and infrastructure over global companies
  • Super versatile, out of the box thinker with “can-do” approach
  • Deep understanding of network security, end-point security, web and cloud security
  • Versatile understanding in security solutions, such as firewalls, IDPS, EDR, authentication systems, log management, content filtering, etc.
  • Experience with writing custom offensive tools and exploits
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external teams
  • Ability to document and explain technical details in a concise, understandable manner for both technical and management audiences
  • Ability to manage and balance own time among multiple tasks

-  Are a plus:

  • Deep knowledge and experience with Azure cloud
  • Extensive experience with mobile application penetration testing
  • Experice with leading cybersecurity strategy for large scale companies

Key soft and organizational competencies

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to explain/vulgarize/convince on technical concepts
  • Autonomy and accountability
  • Rigor, methodology, curiosity, pragmatism

Languages

  • Excellent written and verbal English communications
  • French, Japanese or Chinese language is a plus

Other

  • Availability for international travels once in a while
