Our Covers and Foam Division is looking for a Plant Quality and HSE Manager  (H/F ) for his plant based at Villers la Montagne (54)


The role of a Plant Quality, Health, Safety & Environnement Manager is to guarantee that all actions in the plant comply with the requirements of the Faurecia Excellence System. Guarantee, according to national legislation and HSE regulation, customer requirements, business group and corporate guidelines the respect and the enforcement of tthe Group's policy.


The main missions:


  • Define and deploy with plant manager the Quality & HSE policy
  • Ensure the Plant's compliance with all Safety/regulation standards
  • Manage the Plant Quality System in accordance with the Faurecia Excellence System.
  • Analyse risks ands bring solutions to improve the working conditions; the level of industrial safety and respect of the environnement
  • Represent customer requirements internally and ensure the respect of S/R products characteristics, maintain Quality records / documentation
  • Define with the plant manager the Quality and HSE objectives and monitor progress. Monitor the reporting of related indicators (FR0T, PPM, Scrap, ...)
  • Define the orgnaization, staff, and develop the QHSE team.
  • Collaborate with the Purchasing organization in all activities and initiatives concerning Supplier Quality Assurance.
  • Interrupt the manufacturing or the delivery of products when Quality or HSE is not assured.
  • Pilot IATF and OHSAS Certifications
  • Propose an annual improvement action plan to the plant management
  • Monitor legal compliance and manage the plant relations with local government and regulatory organizations (mainly DREAL and labor insepector)
  • Promote and esure the respect of the Code Ethics and Code of Management.
  • Organise and drive Quality and HSE audits and trainings. Implement FES related to QHSE.
  • Carry out accidents and quality issues enquiries


Qualifications :

The ideal candidate will have / be :


  • Bachelor's degree in engineering with a specialisation in Quality, Health, Saefty & Environnement
  • 5 years experience in a plant or in an industrial environment
  • Mechanical skills must be an asset
  • Knowledge of Quality & HSE tools and methodsq : QRQC, FMEA, 5 why methodology, audits ...
  • Knowledge of national legislation
  • General knowledge of automotive production plant technologies
  • Rigor and exemplarity
  • Customer relationship experience and communication skills
  • Minimum bi-lingual (English required)
