Metal Stamping Engineer
Responsible for designing, optimizing, and improving metal stamping processes to ensure high-quality, cost-effective production. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to develop tooling, troubleshoot manufacturing issues, and implement continuous process improvements while maintaining safety and quality standards.
Employee responsibilities:
• Supervision and support of the creation of the tool design at ext. tool shops
• Creation and definition of the stamping process (strip layout / method plans)
• Ensure the availability of the stamping parts for securing the program launch
• Manage and control the implementation of the Engineering Change Orders for stamping parts
• Cost calculation of the punching tools
• Industrialization of stamping tools with in-house production
• Leading technical activieties with jigs / parts suppliers
• Cooperation with other Faurecia program / project team members
• Supporting ToolShop/ Maintenance upskilling
