Your position and environment?

 

Our Faurecia Clean Mobility Business Group is looking for you as Assistant Controller VIE (m/f/d) for our Yongin site located in South Korea.

 

Your role and responsibilities?

 

 

The role of a R&D Controller is to manage the controlling of a R&D Site or Region, engineering, prototypes, and tooling costs, in order to guarantee and optimize the R&D financial performance and competitiveness. The main missions of the role are to:

 

  • Ensure all financial related procedures compliance
    • Develop, execute and control internal finance procedures including spending authorization in accordance with Group procedures and policies
    • Ensure site activities are compliant with Faurecia finance related procedures, and 9 internal control basics

 

  • Provide reliable financial/controlling information towards the management
    • Lead all forecasting processes (budget, periodic forecast, …)
    • Manage reporting process ensuring reliability, consistency, transparency and delay compliance
    • Ensure reliability of hourly rates
    • Provide all necessary controlling analysis including variance analysis, R&D Site budgetary control, projects and programs monitoring
    • Collaborate with Program Controlling teams, obtaining/providing/validating proper information
    • Collaborate with Shared Service Center obtaining/providing/validating proper finance information
    • Control and manage the site’s operating cash flow (capex, working capital)
    • Provide all necessary information requested by internal and external auditors

 

  • Act as a business partner toward the engineering community, and provide recommendation to the management
    • Propose, to the management action plans resulting from relevant analysis in order to achieve the operational targets (especially regarding costs, workload…)
    • Identify and optimize external subsidies relative to research activities
    • Share with program controller for different subjects (RFQA, IBP, Monthly Result)
    • Follow finance impact of action plans
    • Ensure financial awareness of engineering operational teams

 

The mission will last 12 months, could be renewed once up to 24 months.


Who are you?

    • Master’s degree in Finance
    • Fluent in English
    • First experience in controlling or significant apprentice/internship experience in controlling preferable in industrial environment
    • IT System basic knowledge (Excel, SAP etc.)
    • Accounting Knowledge
    • Communication skills
    • International mindset.
