Priscila began her career with Faurecia working as a trainee before joining the company corporate controlling team in Sao Paulo in 2008. “My job involves a lot of interaction with other people, supporting the plant manager and the team. The information we provide is used in all decisions, whether it’s choosing a new supplier, determining sales prices or making purchases. There are questions and decisions every day about plant programs and we support the team to ensure we’re getting the optimum outcomes.
In this position, it’s really interesting to know so much about the company and to see where it’s going. In the plant, you really feel that you are part of the business and helping to make sure we’re making the best decisions.
There is a great team spirit here. It’s a very horizontal organization and I feel that I have easy access to everyone on the team. To do this job, of course you have to know how to work with numbers for budgeting, forecasting and other functions. It’s also important to know about each department and to like working in teams. You also need to be energetic because the job also requires involving and sometimes pushing others on the team to make sure we’re achieving our results.”
