Your mission, roles and responsibilities

Overall responsibilities and duties:
Participate in the development, modification and launch in series (SOP + 6 months), equipment / tools, associated with new lines / products or modifications of existing products, providing the necessary solutions, the process allocated to it in order to meet all customer requirements or program in terms of product quality, production targets and compliance with the standards process
 
The main missions of the role are:
Development
Involved from the beginning of the project, the definition of the production process, providing inputs and examples of known processes in order to, from the plant point of view, do not take risks during setup and commissioning series.
Participate and track setting Process and manufacture of equipment/tools
Participate in the first test tool / equipment at the plant / supplier, to identify as soon as possible, all risks.
Contribute, based on the experience gained in the process of standard setting and continuous improvement of it, ideas and new solutions.
Joining FMEA workshops, in order to identify process risks and defining corrective actions.
Tuning
Participate and lead the tool tuning process, either the PIC or in the plant.
Ensure the length of the objectives on capacity, quality and cost of the process.
Follow the first production testing by providing the PPTL / Team the necessary support, either in training or in technical terms, so that the Gap Leader will do the first pieces.
Launch
Participate in the program meetings and contribute to actions of convergence in order to achieve the objectives.
Develop supporting documentation, such as; Process parameters table (WPS, GPS, ...), spare parts of process tools, critical points of the tools, capabilities, ...
Identify any opportunity for improvement, and applying and following their impact on production and results.
Production support
Participate in activities of analysis results of production / quality, whenever requested and contribute to the process improvements
Support production teams in emergency situations, in any intervention associated with the process.
Carry out cost analysis regarding spending on consumables.
Networking
Work together and engaged with experts, process engineers and centers of development or in other plants in order to share experiences and contribute to the development of the process.

Your profile and competencies to succeed

Minimum education level: Degree in  Engineering preferably (Mechanical or Electrical ( preferably))
 
Experience :
Technical skills in Process and Product

Strong communication skills and ability to structure and capitalize know-how;
 Net-working skills;
 International mindset;
 Languages: English (fluent).
 Computing. AutoCad
