Your mission, roles and responsibilities
The Industrial Program Engineer will be responsible for secure the successful launch of the assigned projects / programs, acting as the leader for the team and topics related to Industrialization and Manufacturing at the plant level. Since phase 1 up to SOP + 6 months.
You’ll work on challenges that matter.
This job will require you to:
- Meet Forvia's PMS milestones on time, by coordinate and secure the accomplishment of the work packages with the support of the cross functional team.
- Comply with deliveries to the customer on time,
- Lead Run at Rate exercises, by achieving the productivity and quality targets.
- Lead industrialization works (installation of equipment, develop and implementation of material flow systems, relocation of productive areas, etc.)
- Be the link between the Program and the Plant.
- Tracking and respect of the Start Up Cost (Budget) of the new launches.
- Keep track and secure the TRS/OEE curve of Production Lines and capacity Machines vs the Ramp up approved by the Customer.
- Leader of the standard documentation development for new launches, with the support of the cross functional team.
- Direct labor hiring and training definition and tracking.
- Coordinate with the PC&L Team (Logistics) to secure the supply -needed of row material.
- Identify risk and report all the discrepancies against the objectives of the BP.
- Develop and Implementation of improvement ideas.
- Should be supporting / participation in PT, MPTs, EMPTs
- Preparing Launch Reports
Your profile and competencies to succeed
To succeed in this position, you will ideally have:
- Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering or similiar
- Operational experience
- 4 years of working experience within a production environment
- Recognized experience and ability to improve processes and KPI's within a plant.
- Previous plant launch experience and previous management experience is a plus.
- Network animation, coaching and influencing/persuasion skills
- Ability to train and coach within the plant
- Continuous improvement mindset
- Ability to master change
- Understand basic P&L and operational levers
- English Fluency
