Our activity is looking for an commodity buyer for its R&D Center based in Bavans (30 min from Belfort; 15 min from Monbéliard; near Switzerland). The Center R&D from Bavans, with close to 1000 collaborators, develop innovative solutions for sustainable and clean mobility. It is Forvia's global center of expertise on hydrogen storage systems.

Internship duration 6 months, from 1st Feb 2026.

Your mission, roles and responsibilities

What makes the position interesting ?

As a Commodity Buyer Europe you will work closely with program purchasing buyers, series buyers, costing teams and suppliers across the globe. You will actively contribute to commodity purchasing strategy and ensure purchasing targets are achieved. You will be working on challenges that matter

Your missions:
1.    Create Purchasing Performance :
a.    Identify savings opportunities
b.    Supplier benchmark
c.    Participate to supplier negotiation
d.    Lead resourcing actions
e.    Supplier Panel Management

2.    Reporting:
a.    Update and monitor KPIs
b.    Prepare monthly reporting

3.    Operational support
a.    Monthly price update
b.    Blocked invoicesmanagement
c.    Implementation of factoring solution

Your profile and competencies to succeed

What if it were you?
•    2nd Year of master’s degree
•    First experience in automotive or similar industry is a plus
•    You are a fluent English speaker
