Your Mission, Roles and Responsibilities

As a Purchasing Excellence Leader intern (M/F), based in Bavans (25); you will support the Purchasing Excellence function in driving data-driven transformation, and sustainability initiatives, risk management and cash performance across the purchasing function.

Your missions will include:

1. Data Management
   1. Contribute to improving purchasing data structure and quality, consistency, and governance processes and KPIs to support decision-making.
   2. Assist in building automated reporting tools for purchasing performance.

2. Sustainability & CO₂ Initiatives
   1. Support the deployment of the purchasing sustainability and CO₂ reduction roadmap.
   2. Assist in tracking, reporting and forecasting supplier CSR compliance.

3. Cross-functional Collaboration
   1. Work closely with purchasing, supply chain, finance, risk management, and operations teams.
   2. Support coordination between different commodities and divisions.

Your Profile

1. Education & Experience
1. Master’s degree / Engineering degree (Data, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field).
2. Strong interest in data analysis, digital transformation, and purchasing.
2. Skills & Competencies
1. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
2. Interest in data tools, automation, and business intelligence.
3. Proficiency in Excel, and business intelligence tools.
4. Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
5. Structured, organized, and detail-oriented.

3. Ability to simplify complex topics through data and tools.
