Your mission, roles and responsibilities
Our activity is looking for a Value Optimization Engineer & Performance Analyst (West Europe customers) for its R&D Center based in Bavans (30 min from Belfort; 15 min from Montbéliard; near Switzerland). The Center R&D from Bavans, with close to 1000 collaborators, develop innovative solutions for sustainable and clean mobility. It is Forvia's global center of expertise on hydrogen storage systems.
Apprenticeship duration 12 to 18 months, from June 26.
What makes the position interesting ?
In this role, you will monitor performance, drive cost improvement actions, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure profitable and technically feasible solutions. You will also contribute to reporting activities and support customer‑specific value optimization programs:

You will be working on challenges that matter
Your missions:
Performance monitoring and reporting:
- Monitor performance indicators for the West Europe Customers scope with a focus on net value optimization.
- Improve the reporting process for the Division to enhance visibility and decision‑making.
Value Optimization activities:
- Lead one or more value optimization initiatives in collaboration with internal teams.
- Conduct weekly follow‑ups to ensure progress and alignment.
- Coordinate with product development leaders, buyers, plant teams, logistics, program managers and sales to:
- Evaluate business cases and profitability.
- Assess technical feasibility of proposed ideas.
- Ensure validated ideas are properly executed and fully implemented.
Customer‑specific responsibilities:
For one of our key customers, you will:
- Prepare the presentations and value‑optimization materials.
- Monitor the idea pipeline and track performance against targets.
Your profile and competencies to succeed
What if it were you?
- Bac +2/3 or junior engineering school or junior business school.
- Junior.
- Microsoft office (excel, power point).
- Fluent English.
- Good communication skills, proactive, organized, and able to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
