Your mission, roles and responsibilities

  • Define system-level requirements for sensor subsystems (selection, architecture, performance evaluation).
  • Design, prototype, and evaluate sensor systems, including electronics, mechanics, signal conditioning, and calibration.
  • Perform testing, characterization, and validation (environmental, stress, and reliability testing).
  • Interface with sensor suppliers to evaluate components, monitor roadmaps, and ensure system integration.
  • Collaborate with software, signal processing, and embedded systems teams for data integration and sensor fusion.
  • Conduct technology scouting and maintain awareness of emerging sensor technologies (optical, MEMS, radar, capacitive, resistive etc.).
  • Write technical documentation: specifications, test reports, and integration guidelines.
  • Support industrialization or transfer-to-manufacturing phases for integrated sensor solutions.
  • Contribute to innovation and continuous improvement of sensor system

Your profile and competencies to succeed

  • Master’s degree or Engineering degree in electronics, physics, instrumentation, microelectronics, or related field.
  • >5 years of experience in sensor design or system integration.
  • Hands-on experience with sensor characterization, qualification, and validation.
  • Familiarity with supplier interaction and cross-functional system development.
  • Solid understanding of analog/mixed-signal electronics (low signal, conditioning, amplifiers, filters).
  • Knowledge of sensor technologies such as capacitive, resistive (FSR) resistive (Pizo).
  • Proficiency in lab instrumentation (oscilloscopes, analyzers, test benches).
  • Programming skills in C/C++, Python, MATLAB or and embedded would be a real plus.
  • Experience in developing and implementing algorithms for signal processing, calibration, sensor fusion, and data filtering.
  • Awareness of system constraints (power, noise, thermal, mechanical integration).
  • English mandatory
