We are looking for an Apprentice – [Central Controller, Forvia Hydrogen Solutions] to join our teams!
Our division is looking for an Apprentice in Central Controlling for its R&D Center based in Bavans (30 minutes from Belfort; 15 minutes from Montbéliard; close to Switzerland).
The Bavans R&D center, with nearly 1,000 employees, develops innovative solutions for clean and sustainable mobility. It is Forvia’s global center of expertise for hydrogen storage systems.
Duration: 2-year apprenticeship starting September 2026.
What makes this role interesting?
You will gain experience in a Central Controller position. You will act as a Business Partner to management, ensuring the performance of the R&D center.
You will work on meaningful challenges.
Your responsibilities:
Develop, monitor, and update annual budgets
Manage the forecast process (monthly/quarterly)
Consolidate results from subsidiaries/sites/departments
Analyze variances between forecasts and actuals (P&L, costs, margins, cash)
Propose action plans to improve performance
Participate in and ensure compliance with internal procedures, including purchase approvals, in line with Group policies
Produce financial reporting for senior management (monthly, quarterly, annual)
Develop and optimize dashboards (KPIs, operational indicators)
Ensure consistency and reliability of financial data
Communicate results to internal stakeholders

Target degree: Master’s level (Bachelor +4/5), with a specialization in Finance
Autonomous, detail-oriented
Proactive and dynamic
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a matrix organization
Excellent command of Excel
Fluent in English (minimum B1; Ideally B2) #JTS
